This beauty product is really a little bombshell in hiding. We took this with us on our trip to Honduras this past January and had the best time giving ourselves facials on the deck of our bungalows overlooking the ocean.
It was a vacation for all of us but we also had one of the couples in our group celebrating their marriage. The day of the wedding, we relaxed by the pool, read books and then a few hours before the ceremony we went back to our bungalows and traded doing these amazing enzymatic peels on each other. It’s pretty much the only type of peel you would ever want to do when you are in the elements like we were this week. The sun, is usually not a good element to expose yourself to after a peel, but this one was all a go (or should I say Glow) because it is just a really good exfoliater and brightener.
You first do a cleanse, followed by this amazing enzyme peel.
This peel literally massages off your dead skin cells. That’s how you know you are done with the enzyme, it starts to roll your dead skin into bits like when you put elmers glue in your hand and let it dry and then rub it off.
Then you go on to the oxygenating mask.
This lovely little product is like a party on your skin. It foams up like shaving cream, adding oxygen to your newly revealed healthy skin. This is left on until the foam dissipates and then cleansed off to reveal your glowing, brightened skin.
This peel is available through Image Skin Care. There are other oxygenating treatments through all kinds of different skin care lines, but this one is tried and true for me.
Here we are on Wedding Day. Glowing like a bunch of teenagers. (That’s me on the right.) Totally loved how this facial worked and I would recommend anyone getting one done before a big event.
